Use a measuring tape. Measure in inches. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits and across your shoulder blades. Keep arms relaxed at your sides.
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit. Add 0.5 inch for comfort. This is your collar size.
Measure from the top of your shoulder, down to your elbow, and then to your wrist. Keep arm slightly bent.
Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, about 1 inch above your belly button.
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, usually about 8 inches below your natural waist.
Measure from your crotch down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg. This is your trouser length.
